Narrow aisle forklifts function by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the aisle width. Yale spotlights the double reach NDR and the single reach NR models for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks made by Yale offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has various stance and control handle configurations and utilize best-in-class ergonomics.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To be able to meet a wider variety of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations such as the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers strong deceleration and acceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been designed for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of cargo transported during a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the mast durability and rigidity; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To really improve the overall throughput and productivity, Yale offers industry leading uploading speeds and lowering speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a great feature that maintains lower oil operating temperature whilst reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and thus greatly reduces energy. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the technician can adjust the steer effort so as to lessen operator exhaustion. During the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically start.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also referred to as very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks. These machines are designed for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors lift both the operator and the cargo to its required height. This height could be over 30 feet. Similar with most turret trucks they are generally guided by rail or wire when used in very narrow aisle applications.
