Specifications of Clark Forklifts
Kinds
Clark manufactures an array of forklift trucks such as cushion trucks, narrow aisles and pneumatic trucks. The different kinds vary in terms of the way they run. Like for example, heavy-duty forklifts used for agriculture and construction run on an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle models designed for use in warehouses and other confined spaces run on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks varies based on the kind. Forklifts that are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the model. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion models are suggested. They could lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks operate on AC battery cells, either 48 volt or 36 volt. The internal combustible engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion types have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This includes the operator's overhead protective cover, the controls and the seat. The frame includes the fuel tank, engine, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
