Narrow Aisle Forklift
Designed to both lift and lower loaded pallets from storage areas that are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This kind is suitable for work environments with narrow spaces between aisles, like for example retail establishments or warehouses. The forklift has solid rubber, small tires that make maneuvering simple.

The operator of this particular kind of forklift generally stands up within a small cockpit. The stand-up design enables the narrow aisle forklift to be as narrow ans short as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift normally has three tires: one in the rear, and two in the front. This design allows for easy and fast maneuvering. There are some versions of these forklifts which come with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment is capable of pivoting to the sides, allowing the lift to be operated without the operator having to move the entire machine. The sit-down model generally has four wheels.

Numerous narrow aisle forklifts are powered by an electric engine. Electric-powered equipment do not make exhaust fumes and are quiet, making them the preferred option for closed places such as retail spaces. Some lifts come with a gas engine or a diesel engine. Nevertheless, the diesel model is not suggested for indoor use since it could produce exhaust and be quite noisy.
