The forklift is a material handling machinery used to lift and move loads from one place to another. Every forklift component has a particular function. Various components could be used to move the load vertically or horizontally.

Mast
The components utilized to lift and lower the load is referred to as the forklift mast. There are different types of masts utilized for raising loads to various heights: duplex, triplex, quad and simplex.

Power Supply
Forklifts have four various ways of being powered: gas, electric, diesel and propane. The battery is located in the cab underneath the seat. The propane tank is on the back of the truck. The fuel tank on gas and diesel forklifts is beneath the rear of the truck.

Cab

Frame
