The TX4 Series of forklifts by Taylor are specific 4WD vehicles designed for just one task. This task is to move material in the harshest setting. Some of the terrain these types of equipment work in consists of: mud, snow or uneven and rough environments. The TX4 delivers supreme performance and has become the leading alternative for lots of businesses.
Different compared to other comparable articulated lift truck models, the TX4 is not a front loader chassis with a fork attachment. Instead, it is an articulated material handler specifically and completely manufactured and engineered by Taylor Machine Works.
Available today, there are 3 different load capacities. The TX4 model is an articulated 4-wheel drive forklift built to out-perform the front-end loader lift trucks. Typically, in order to achieve the same capacity from a lift truck or front-end loader, the front-end loader or lift truck will have to be larger than the 132 inch wheelbase that comprises the TX4 Series. The TX4 Series articulated 4WD forklifts are true rough terrain lift trucks. They were made to have no deration in full turns. Furthermore, this particular model comes direct from the plant with 11 feet of vertical lift.
Taylor Machine Works' TXB Series of rough terrain forklifts are amongst the strongest and very robust and really maneuverable high-capacity rough terrain lift trucks offered for the wood products industry. The only manufacturer in the USA that builds and designs rough terrain lift trucks with 18,000 pounds to 30,000 pound rated capacities is Taylor Machine Works. Thus, they have become the leader within this specific field within North America and have earned a solid reputation within this particular niche.
Every unit in the TXB Series line of lift trucks uses a Tier Certified Cummins electronic turbocharged charge air to air or after-cooled diesel engine. Some of the basic engine features consist of transmission/engine protection systems and electronic diagnostic maintenance, water/fuel separator, reduced overall emissions and improved fuel economy.
The transmission used for the TXB Series consists of a 3-speed, modulated, fully reversing powershift transmission. This transmission is also outfitted with a separate cooler for air-to-oil, inching ability and electric roll shift control.
Taylor has built many equipments to deal with the toughest environments. These kinds of equipment can work at their optimum levels within some of the most difficult applications. They are both reliable and strong and built to last and finish the job in an efficient and timely manner.
